 I've been experimenting lately with a pattern i designed last year for a small 6 inch bear and playing around with some gorgeous, top quality supersoft plush. I'm pretty happy with the results and as you can see they are super, smiley little bears with needlefelted faces and feet. They are fully jointed and strictly collectors only pieces, not toys.

Spring cleaning!

 Well, its spring (i think!), so time for some spring cleaning. Ive cleared out the embellishment draw and sorted all the fur and mohair into colour collections. Feel much better now!

Also this week, Delilah is busy saying her goodbyes before hopping into her box ready for a trip to her new home in australia.

A new direction.

 A new direction for bedlam bears for 2013.
    I've decided to experiment with needle felting the bears faces and found it to be quite rewarding and a great way to add expressions and a more recognisable look.
   So far feedback has been good and most bears have been adopted!
 These two are scarlet and cherry, both in mohair, fully jointed and with felt faces.
Cherry has been adopted but Scarlet is still available on bearpile.com/ bedlam bears.

 



    In the same collection is Marina, a 9 inch curly mohair bear made from lovely hand dyed teal fabric. 5 ways jointed and needlefelted she has found a new home in Australia.
