A new direction.

 A new direction for bedlam bears for 2013.
    I've decided to experiment with needle felting the bears faces and found it to be quite rewarding and a great way to add expressions and a more recognisable look.
   So far feedback has been good and most bears have been adopted!
 These two are scarlet and cherry, both in mohair, fully jointed and with felt faces.
Cherry has been adopted but Scarlet is still available on bearpile.com/ bedlam bears.

 



    In the same collection is Marina, a 9 inch curly mohair bear made from lovely hand dyed teal fabric. 5 ways jointed and needlefelted she has found a new home in Australia.

                                                This is Jude a 9 inch cutie in gorgeous lilac curly mohair.

  Kelly is a green curly mohair bear, 9 inches tall, still available for adoption on bearpile.com.

 hi everyone!
a busy time of year but now time to take a breather and concentrate on new and exciting things.
   
this is bianca, a small mohair kitten, now available on

my latest collection is called crazy kittens and here is the first member, fuschia. a luxurious plush cat able to stand unaided thanks to weighted belly. Needlefelted face, bell collar and ear ribbon. soon to be available in more colours including purple and blue tipped.

He is 6 inches tall and was made to commemorate Jenson Buttons win at the 2012 Belgian Gran Prix.
He is 100% handsewn in a smoke free home.

 This is my latest bear Bentley! during production and just born photos.This is Bentley, an 8 and a half inch tall brown bear straight from the woods! He is a traditional cotterpin joined teddy with a part pellet filled tummy to add weight and gorgeous shiny glass eyes. 100% handsewn with love he is a one-of-a-kind bear from a smoke free home
Bentley is made from gorgeous brown tipped hembold mohair and proudly wears his burgundy organza ribbon and twine threaded bell. He is looking for a forever home to hibernate in before winter. http://www.bearpile.com/item/60754

 Latest collection of bears awaiting adoption, most will be coming to the congleton bear fair on sunday 9th december.
 
Bear currently in production, will have pink accesories to compliment the grey mohair.

new mohairs

lots going on at the moment! ruby and violet were featured in the 200th issue of teddy bear times magazine, enjoying a jubilee tea party. violet has now been adopted and has gone to live in sigapore but ruby is still available through bearpile.com.
         new delivery of lovely mohair arrived today from christie bears, can't wait to get cracking, two weeks holiday from work gives me plenty of time to make.
Lastly, just booked for another demo at Hobbycraft Bridgemere on August 5th, so come along if you're in the area.

Busy, Busy, Busy!

New bears in the pipeline, more traditional than of late  and maybe with a
bit of experimentatioin with faces. Hoping to book some fairs for later in the year, maybe crafts
at Arley Hall and possibly Telford Bear Fair if im feeling brave!
